Megachile newberryae is a species of solitary bee in the family Megachilidae, described by Theodore Dru Alison Cockerell in 1900. Like other members of the genus Megachile, this species is a leafcutter bee, characterized by females that cut leaf pieces to line their nest cells. The species has been recorded in Middle America and North America.
