Asemoplus is a of short-horned grasshoppers in the Acrididae, established by Scudder in 1897. The genus comprises at least three described : Asemoplus hispidus, A. montanus (Montana ), and A. sierranus. It belongs to the tribe Podismini within the Melanoplinae. The genus is native to western North America.
