Xeracris is a of slant-faced grasshoppers in the Acrididae, established by Caudell in 1916. It contains two described : Xeracris minimus (least desert grasshopper) and Xeracris snowi (Snow's desert grasshopper). Both species are associated with arid environments in southwestern North America.
