Identification

The sole , Cuniberta subtinctella, has a wingspan of 22–26 mm. Forewings are gray with whitish dusting on basal and areas; the antemedial line is nearly vertical, bordered outwardly by a black line expanded and accentuated on the , and inwardly on the lower margin by a reddish or reddish-olivaceous patch. Hindwings are pale smoky fuscous.
