Catastia is a of (: Phycitinae) erected by Jacob in 1825. The genus contains approximately eight described distributed across the Palearctic region, with records from Europe through northern Asia. Most species were described in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, with C. subactualis described as recently as 2003.
