Apogeshna is a of snout moths in the Crambidae, Spilomelinae. It was established by Munroe in 1956 and contains two described : A. infirmalis and A. stenialis. The genus is known from North America, with records primarily from the eastern United States including Vermont.

Taxonomic History

The Apogeshna was erected by Munroe in 1956 within Crambidae. It is currently placed in Spilomelinae, a large and diverse group of grass moths and snout moths.

Species Composition

The contains two described : Apogeshna infirmalis (Möschler, 1886) and Apogeshna stenialis (Guenée, 1854). Both species were originally described in other genera and later transferred to Apogeshna.
