Sathria is a of snout moths in the Crambidae, established by Julius Lederer in 1863. The genus contains three described : Sathria internitalis, Sathria onophasalis, and Sathria simmialis. Members are classified within the Spilomelinae, a large and diverse group of crambid . The genus appears to be relatively poorly represented in collections and observations compared to many other crambid genera.

Distribution

The has been recorded from the Neotropical region. Sathria internitalis has been reported from Brazil and French Guiana. Sathria onophasalis and Sathria simmialis were described from Brazil.

Taxonomic history

The was established by Austrian entomologist Julius Lederer in 1863. The three included were originally described in other genera (internitalis in Botys by Guenée, 1854; onophasalis and simmialis in Sameodes by Walker, 1859) before being transferred to Sathria.
