Satyrium liparops, the striped , is a North American in the Lycaenidae. It ranges from the Rocky Mountains eastward across southern Canada and the United States to the Atlantic coast, occurring from southern Canada to Colorado and from Maine south to Florida. Associated with woodland , particularly oak-dominated forests. Based on observations of related Satyrium , may spend significant time in the forest .

Distribution

North America: Rocky Mountains south from southern Canada to Colorado, east to Maine, and south to Florida. distributions include: S. l. aliparops (Colorado, southern Alberta to Manitoba), S. l. fletcheri (Manitoba, northern Ontario to Alberta), S. l. floridensis (Florida), S. l. liparops (Georgia), and S. l. strigosa (Massachusetts, New England, eastern Canada).
