Cogia caicus is a of dicot skipper in the Hesperiidae. It is commonly known as the gold- skipper or caicus skipper. The species was first described by Herrich-Schäffer in 1869 under the basionym Eudamus caicus. Two are recognized: Cogia caicus caicus and Cogia caicus moschus.
