Baltodonta

Baltodonta is a genus of prominent moths in the family Notodontidae, subfamily Heterocampinae, established by Miller & Franclemont in 2021. The genus was erected to accommodate species previously placed in other genera. As a recently described genus, its species-level taxonomy is still being refined. The genus belongs to a group of moths commonly known as prominents, characterized by their distinctive resting posture and often cryptic coloration.
