Taxonomic History

Phobolosia was transferred from Noctuidae ( Acontiinae) to Erebidae following phylogenetic revisions of the Noctuoidea. Some databases, including GBIF and NCBI, may still list the under Noctuidae due to lagging taxonomic updates.
