A of geometrid moths established by Packard in 1873. The genus contains approximately 12 described , with most species described in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Species are distributed primarily in the Neotropical region, with records from Mexico through Central and South America. The genus belongs to the Sterrhinae, a diverse group of often small to medium-sized geometrid moths.
