Taeniogramma tenebrosata

Taeniogramma tenebrosata is a species of geometrid moth occurring in Central and North America. It was originally described by Hulst in 1887 and has been placed in the genus Macaria in some taxonomic treatments. The species is assigned Hodges number 6425 in the North American moth numbering system. As a member of Geometridae, it belongs to a large family of moths commonly known as inchworms or geometer moths due to the looping locomotion of their larvae.
