Anavitrinella addendaria

Anavitrinella addendaria is a species of geometrid moth in the family Geometridae. It belongs to the genus Anavitrinella, which includes several North American species commonly referred to as "Gray" moths due to their generally subdued coloration. The species was originally described as Alcis addendaria by Grossbeck in 1908. Like other members of its genus, it is expected to be a nocturnal species with slender caterpillars (inchworms) that move with a characteristic looping gait.
