Eriborus terebrans is a solitary in the Ichneumonidae. It has been documented as a parasitoid of European corn borer (Ostrinia nubilalis) caterpillars and Paranthrene tabaniformis caterpillars. The was first described by Gravenhorst in 1829 under the basionym Campoplex terebrans.
