Systematic History

The tribe was established by Drake and is documented in Froeschner (2001) 'Lace Bug of the World, II: Tinginae: tribes Litadeini and Ypsotingini' (Smithsonian Contributions to Zoology, No. 611). The tribe was previously treated by Drake & Ruhoff (1960, 1965) in their comprehensive works on world lace bug genera.
