Acinopterini is a tribe of leafhoppers within the Deltocephalinae, containing two and over 35 . The genus Acinopterus, with more than 30 species, is widely distributed across North and South America. The genus Cariancha contains two species to Brazil. The tribe was established by Oman in 1943.
