Callibaetis californicus is a small minnow mayfly in the Baetidae, first described by Banks in 1900. The occurs across Central America and western North America, including all of Mexico and the western United States. As a member of the Baetidae, it belongs to one of the most diverse families of mayflies, commonly known as small minnow mayflies for their streamlined, fish-like nymphal form.
