Limonia annulata

Lackschewitz, 1940

Limonia annulata is a of limoniid crane fly described by Lackschewitz in 1940. It belongs to the Limoniidae, a large group of true flies characterized by their elongated bodies and long, fragile legs. The species is known from the East Palearctic region, with records from southern Siberia, Mongolia, and North Korea, as well as from Vermont in the United States.

Distribution

East Palearctic region: southern Siberia from Altay in the west to Amurskaya oblast in the east; Mongolia; North Korea. Also recorded from Vermont, United States.
