Rivellia colei
Namba, 1956
Rivellia colei is a North American signal fly ( Platystomatidae) closely related to and largely sympatric with the soybean nodule fly, Rivellia quadrifasciata. The two can be separated with certainty only by examination of male genitalia. While R. quadrifasciata is more common, widespread, and well-documented in association with soybean, R. colei remains poorly known in the literature.
