Oedaleinae is a of small predatory flies within the Hybotidae (Diptera). The subfamily contains four recognized : Allanthalia, Anthalia, Euthyneura, and Oedalea. Members are classified within the order Diptera and share the general morphological characteristics of hybotid flies, including a humpbacked and predatory habits.
