Habitat
Older, well-established forests and wooded with mature and decaying trees; humid forests; sheltered including caves and shady biotopes; near streams. Docosia gilvipes has been collected from caves (Gouffre Izora, Grotte Bouslama) and a forested valley (Vallée des oiseaux) in Morocco's Middle Atlas region. Docosia caucasica was collected from a small meadow surrounded by riverine trees and forest at 1370 m elevation in the Lesser Caucasus Mountains.
