Gnoriste is a of fungus gnats in the Mycetophilidae, established by Meigen in 1818. The genus contains approximately 11–13 described . Members of this genus are found in northern Europe, with records from Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Like other Mycetophilidae, are small flies associated with moist, forested where their larvae develop in fungi.
