Swammerdamella is a of minute black scavenger flies in the Scatopsidae (Diptera). The genus was established by Enderlein in 1912 and is distributed across the western Palaearctic, with records from Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden) and recent first records from Mexico. The genus includes at least one newly described , S. grogani, from southeastern Mexico.
