A stiletto fly in the Therevidae, occurring in the Holarctic region. Originally described as Thereva bella by Kröber in 1914, the species was later transferred to Spiriverpa. The Thereva bella nigrimana Kröber was synonymized with the nominate form in a 2005 taxonomic revision.
