Andrenosoma corallium
Martin, 1966
Andrenosoma corallium is a robber fly in the Asilidae, Laphriinae, described by Martin in 1966. Like other members of the subfamily Laphriinae, its larvae are presumed to prey on wood-boring larvae, particularly those in families Buprestidae and Cerambycidae. The Andrenosoma reaches its greatest diversity in the Neotropics, with most North American species restricted to Texas and the western United States.
