Eleates depressus is a small darkling beetle in the Tenebrionidae, commonly known as the Conk-loving Darkling Beetle. The has been recorded from multiple Canadian provinces including British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, and Ontario. It is associated with conks (bracket fungi) on trees, where are found. The species was originally described by Randall in 1838.

Recorded from British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, and Ontario in Canada.
