1Cnemodinus is a of darkling beetles in the Tenebrionidae, established by Cockerell in 1906. It is the sole genus in the tribe Cnemodinini. The genus contains three described : Cnemodinus angustus, Cnemodinus subhyalinus, and Cnemodinus testaceus. These species were described by Casey (1907) and Horn (1870).
