Adelina is a of darkling beetles in the Tenebrionidae, first described by Dejean in 1835. Members of this genus are classified within the Diaperinae and tribe Diaperini. The genus is part of the diverse Cucujiformia infraorder, which includes many plant-associated beetles. Observations suggest moderate diversity with over 500 records documented on iNaturalist.
