Micropeplus punctatus is a small rove beetle in the Micropeplinae, characterized by its diminutive size and distinctive punctate body surface. The was described by John Lawrence LeConte in 1863 and occurs in western North America, from Alaska through the Pacific Northwest and into California. Like other members of its , it inhabits moist forest floor where it contributes to decomposition processes.
