A small (: Aleocharinae) distributed from southern Canada through the United States to Honduras. Originally described as Atheta globicollis in 1907, the was transferred to Seeversiella in a 2006 revision that synonymized S. bispinosa with it. The Seeversiella is primarily Nearctic and Neotropical in distribution. No ecological or biological studies of this species have been published.
