1Seeversiella is a of rove beetles in the Staphylinidae, Aleocharinae, tribe Geostibini. The genus was erected by Ashe in 1986 and occurs in the Nearctic and Neotropical regions. A 2002 revision by Gusarov redescribed the genus, described 27 new , and transferred Atheta globicollis to Seeversiella. The genus now contains at least 28 described species distributed from southern Canada to Panama.
