Laccobius minutoides

Laccobius minutoides is a small water scavenger beetle in the Hydrophilidae, first described by Orchymont in 1942. It is one of numerous diminutive in the Laccobius, which are primarily associated with moist or aquatic . The species is documented across eastern and central North America.
