Berosus rugulosus is a of water scavenger beetle in the Hydrophilidae. It is found in arid and semi-arid regions of the southwestern United States and Mexico. Like other members of the Berosus, it is associated with aquatic or semi-aquatic . The species was described by George Henry Horn in 1873.
