Tetraopini is a tribe of longhorn beetles ( Cerambycidae) within the Lamiinae. The tribe includes at least three : Tetraopes, Phaea, and Mecasoma. Members of this tribe are characterized by their association with milkweed plants (Asclepias), with larvae feeding on roots and feeding on leaves, flowers, and stems. The most well-known genus, Tetraopes, contains commonly called milkweed longhorn beetles or milkweed beetles.
