Poliaenus volitans is a of longhorn beetle in the Cerambycidae, first described by John Lawrence LeConte in 1873. The species is known from Guatemala and Mexico. As a member of the Lamiinae and tribe Pogonocherini, it belongs to a diverse group of wood-boring beetles. Very few specimens have been documented, with only one observation recorded on iNaturalist.
