Malacopterus is a of longhorn ( ) in the tribe Oemini. The genus contains two described : Malacopterus pavidus (Germar, 1824) and Malacopterus tenellus (Fabricius, 1801). It was established by Audinet-Serville in 1833. Members of this genus are classified within the Cerambycinae.
