Chrysophana is a of jewel beetles ( Buprestidae) established by LeConte in 1860. The genus contains three described : Chrysophana conicola (Van Dyke, 1937), Chrysophana holzschuhi (Bily, 1984), and Chrysophana placida (LeConte, 1854). These beetles belong to the Polycestinae, within the Chrysophana generic group as defined by Volkovitsh (2001).
