Siettitiina is a subtribe of diving beetles ( Dytiscidae) established by Smrz in 1982. It belongs to the Hydroporinae and tribe Hydroporini. The group includes the Iberoporus, which contains the first known stygobiont from Portugal, Iberoporus pluto, discovered in 2019. Members of this subtribe are associated with subterranean and groundwater .

Habitat

Subterranean aquatic environments including caves and groundwater systems. The type locality for Iberoporus pluto, the only with documented information in this subtribe, was a clay pond at the bottom of Soprador do Carvalho cave in Portugal.

Distribution

Known from the Iberian Peninsula (Portugal) based on the description of Iberoporus pluto. The broader geographic range of the subtribe requires further documentation.

Siettitiina was established by Smrz in 1982 as a subtribe within Hydroporini (Hydroporinae, Dytiscidae). A 2019 molecular by Ribera and Reboleira provided the first detailed study of this group of , describing Iberoporus pluto as the first stygobiont known from Portugal.
