Cicindela plutonica, the alpine tiger , is a tiger beetle native to the western United States. It occurs in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, and California. The species is assigned to the subgenus Cicindela (Tribonia). Two are recognized: C. p. plutonica and C. p. leachi.
