Bathyporeiidae

Bathyporeiidae is a of amphipod containing two : Amphiporeia and Bathyporeia. These small, laterally compressed marine are primarily known from shallow coastal waters of northern Europe. The family was formally established by d'Udekem d'Acoz in 2011.
Habitat
Members of this are known from marine environments, particularly shallow coastal waters. The Bathyporeia is documented from sandy substrates in intertidal and shallow subtidal zones.
Distribution
Northern Europe. Distribution records from GBIF indicate presence in Denmark (DK), Norway (NO), and Sweden (SE).
