Crosbyella is a of armoured harvestmen (Opiliones: Laniatores) in the Phalangodidae, established by Roewer in 1927. The genus contains five described , all described by C.J. Goodnight and M.L. Goodnight in 1942, with the exception of C. spinturnix which was originally described by Crosby & Bishop in 1924. These species are characterized by their armoured body structure typical of the suborder Laniatores. The genus is part of the diverse North American harvestman fauna.

Taxonomic history

The was erected by Roewer in 1927. Four of the five (C. distincta, C. montana, C. roeweri, and C. tuberculata) were described together by C.J. Goodnight and M.L. Goodnight in 1942. Crosbyella spinturnix was originally described as a species of Phalangodes by Crosby & Bishop in 1924 before being transferred to Crosbyella.
