Dirksia is a of araneomorph spiders in the Cybaeidae. It was first described by Chamberlin & Ivie in 1942 as a subgenus of Ethobuella, then elevated to genus status in 1967. The genus has undergone multiple family reassignments, most recently moved to Cybaeidae in 2017. As of 2025, it contains two : D. cinctipes and D. pyrenaea.

Taxonomic History

Dirksia has been reclassified multiple times: originally placed with funnel weavers (Agelenidae), moved to dwarf sheet spiders (Hahniidae) in 1967, then to Cybaeidae in 2017. Some sources, including NCBI , still list it under Hahniidae.
