Fishia nigrescens
Fishia nigrescens is a noctuid moth species described in 2013, found in arid regions of the western United States. Adults are active in late fall, primarily October. The species name refers to the dark, charcoal gray forewing coloration. Larvae have been documented feeding on Ericameria nauseosa, a shrub in the sunflower family.
Hadenella
Hadenella is a monotypic genus of noctuid moths established by Grote in 1883. The sole species, Hadenella pergentilis, occurs in western North American sage steppe habitats from the Pacific Northwest and Alberta south through the Rocky Mountains to Utah and Colorado, and along the Pacific Coast to southern California.
