    Phaeogenes is a genus of parasitoid wasps in the family Ichneumonidae. Species are distributed across Eurasia and North America. The genus includes solitary pupal parasites that attack Lepidoptera hosts. At least one species, Phaeogenes vincibilis, has been documented parasitizing the bindweed plume moth (Emmelina monodactyla).
