Anarta oaklandiae

Anarta oaklandiae is a noctuid moth species described by James Halliday McDunnough in 1937. Originally placed in the genus Scotogramma, it was later transferred to Anarta. The species is assigned Hodges number 10234 in the North American moth numbering system. Very few observations exist, with only one documented record on iNaturalist.
Protoperigea
Protoperigea is a genus of noctuid moths established by McDunnough in 1937. The genus contains six described species, most of which were described by Mustelin in 2006. Species occur in western North America, with records from the southwestern United States and Mexico. The genus belongs to the subfamily Noctuinae, one of the largest groups of noctuid moths.
