Eurymerodesmus is a of flat-backed millipedes in the Eurymerodesmidae. The genus contains more than 30 described . These millipedes are characterized by their dorsoventrally flattened bodies, a trait common to the order Polydesmida. The genus was established by Brölemann in 1900.

placement has been subject to revision. GBIF lists the family as Xystodesmidae, while NCBI, iNaturalist, and Catalogue of Life place it in Eurymerodesmidae. The latter appears to be the currently accepted classification.
