Miogryllus is a of true crickets in the Gryllidae, established by Saussure in 1877. Members are commonly known as striped or lesser field crickets. The genus contains at least two North American : Miogryllus lineatus (western striped cricket) and Miogryllus saussurei (eastern striped cricket). Recent taxonomic work has placed Miogryllus in the tribe Modicogryllini, though some sources still list it in Gryllini. The genus is closely related to Kazuemba and the recently described Faguagryllus from Colombia.

The Miogryllus occurs in the Americas, with records from North America (United States: Alabama, Arizona), Central America, and South America (Argentina: Northeast and Northwest regions).
