Differs from Paraleucoptera albella by: larger overall size; first fascia (streak) narrower (three times as long as wide versus nearly square in P. albella) and more oblique, positioned nearer the wing base; presence of three or four converging dark lines toward the apex (rarely evident in P. albella); silvery-gray spot smaller than in P. albella and completely surrounded by golden-yellow band anteriorly and superiorly.
