Apodemia virgulti, commonly known as Behr's metalmark, is a in the Riodinidae. The species was first described by Behr in 1865 under the basionym Nemeobius virgulti. It is native to North America and has been documented in at least 7,200 observations on iNaturalist. Eight are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies A. v. virgulti and seven others described by Emmel and colleagues in 1998.
